Graphic Design & Marketing Assistant, Powerstar (Jan ‘21 - Aug ‘23)

• Company graphic designer at an energy technology manufacturer. Supporting multi-channel campaigns with high-quality graphic designs, developing a thorough understanding of branding and marketing.
• Responsible for graphic designs for all departments, including; web graphics, events collateral, brochures, social media imagery, sales documents and presentations, digital and print advertisements, and any other graphic design support required.
• Company ‘Brand Guardian’ - maintaining and developing the look and feel of the brand.
• Running the company's social media channels - planning, designing, and producing content. 
• Developing and delivering a range of marketing emails, regularly evaluating performance and implementing A/B testing.
• Contributing to marketing campaigns, including creating company content: blogs, press releases, feature articles, white papers, social media activity and case studies.
• Using a range of marketing tools including HubSpot (for social media and email scheduling) and WordPress (for website management).

• Key Projects
  • Rise Learning Zone Live Build Project - Developed a site masterplan and designed in detail a teaching space to be built at the school. Met with the organisation to determine their needs, and then designed a treehouse ‘den’ space - taking into account build-ability, cost, aesthetics, function, durability and above all else - safety.
  • Lesedi Creche Live Build Project (South Africa) - Designed a nursery for 80 children with a team of students. Produced technical construction drawings and ensured the project was within budget and could be built within 4 weeks. Fundraised £1000, then constructed the nursery using teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
