I am a UK qualified teacher with one and a half years teaching year 6 and various other year groups in different schools, as well as 5 years work experience as a Teaching Assistant. I also hold a level 5 TEFL certificate. It is a dream of mine to live and work in Japan, so it would be an absolute privilege to work for your organization. I can speak basic Japanese and have quite a lot of knowledge about Japanese culture. As a teacher, I am enthusiastic and passionate with a very positive energy. After completing my Schools Direct teacher training with this school, I stayed and became one of the year 6 teachers for my NQT year. Duties involved: 

• Teaching responsibility of a class of 32 children 
• Planning and teaching various subjects (mainly reading, writing and humanities) 
• Marking and assessment
• Administrative duties based on the students and learning
• Online teaching involving classes using Google Meet and Zoom
• Making learning videos for online learning

Sept 2016 – July 2018

Became a full time employee at Bowes Edmonton Primary School after working through the Step Teachers Agency, first as a Year 6 TA before moving to Year 4 class TA. Tasks involve:

• Supporting students with their class work
• Assisting with ad hoc tasks required from teaching staff
• 1-1 sessions and focus groups with learners including SEN
• Leading/participating in extracurricular activities such as after school club, reading club and trips with the school
