currently work within a Nurse Led Intravitreal Administration Service and have central core of knowledge, skills and competencies, supporting a range of activities essential to the care of ophthalmic patients. I am responsible for clinical assessment, implementation and evaluation of care and treatment ofmypatients. Mypostinvolvesadministrationofspecialisttreatmentproceduresincludingintravitreal therapy, removal of cysts, skin tags and Botox treatments.
I always ensure to respect people’s dignity, wishes and beliefs and involve them in shared decision making; and obtains their consent. I can identify the risks that need to be managed, have clear goals and involve other practitioners to meet people’s complex health and wellbeing needs and risks.
