D Sosnowka

My name is Dorota Sosnowka, I am an aspiring, passionate and creative English teacher. I currently live in Merida. I look for English teaching jobs in Merida. I can teach both teenagers and adults, and groups of varied sizes. I have CELTA certificate teaching certificate, as well as Masters degree in International business and management.

I am able to adapt to specific work environments quickly. Above all I am trustworthy and committed, creative self-starter with a hands-on approach to problem solving. I operate with a strong sense of urgency and thrive in a dynamic and fast-pace environment. 

Throughout my education I pursued degrees that would allow me to study in an international context. In 2012 I graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Management from a Social Academy of Sciences in Lodz, Poland (2:1). Lectures and exams were based in London.

In 2014 I graduated with a Masters degree in International Business and Management from University of Westminster (Merit, top 10% of the cohort). 

Additionally, in 2012 I passed the IELTS test with overall band score:7.0; and in 2017 I completed the Cambridge English Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA).

Since then I have had opportunities to explore varying roles in companies both in my home country Poland, as well as the UK. Multiple previous roles included Sales Specialist position at a large European furniture company - Beliani, as well as private venture Premium Healing, focusing on health and wellness.
