My name is Daniel Evans i am 29 years old and a father of a 2 year old girl, and step father to 10 year old girl twins. I am a hard worker who takes pride in any work i do. I make sure all work i carry out is to the best quality i can acheive and in a efficient and safe manner. From as young as 12 i started to work with alongside my grandfather for our family coach business of 3 generations being my great grandfather, my grandfather and myself. from school i left and went straight to work and started my apprenticeship as a mechanic, when i turned 18 i passed my coach driving test. once time served as a mechanic and driving the length and breadth of the country for a few years, i noticed my grandfather missing oppertunities and the business was no longer moving forward. at that point i took on many of my grandfathers roles in the business and took it from strength to strength until COVID forced our closure.

I had many roles at this point some of which i will list;

Head mechanic and workshop scheduler ensuring all work carried out was to the highest standard we could acheive, Organising drivers and other staff and work so that we could get the most out of our business yet stay within the drivers hours rules, i was in charge of marketing our business, i organised all of our own trips and tours, driving our coaches and much more.

after our closure i then went on to work for Slacks millom ltd as a machine operator with my eagernees to learn and ability to learn new skills quickly i rapidly rose through the ranks in this role, often being told by my superiors "we only have to show you something once maybe twice and you can do it." as time went on with my past experience i was of drafted on to the engineering/fitting team when needed. i carried out many tasks in this sector from welding and fabriction, maintenance and repair to also stripping down and rebuilding the heavy machinery we worked on.

From essentially running my own business it has given me a great work ethic and i take pride in my work, making sure it is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standard i can no matter what the job entails. i am always eager to learn new skills and to put them with past experience to do the best i can. i think my skills and attitude to work would be of benifit for your business in the near future and years to come.
