About Emily Roberts:

I am looking for a part time job to boost my income. I have a range of skills and I am an extremely hard worker.

Experience

Forever Legal (Law Firm) | Welcome Team Manager | August 2020 – Present

A role where I must be extremely organised due to the high volume of clients (700+) and brokers (50+) as well as the fast pace. Day to day I will co-ordinate the diaries of 7 solicitors by communicating effectively and efficiently with the solicitor, the client, and the office. I book anything from 50-70 appointments a week, a process where corners cannot be cut due to being audited and regulated. I handle sensitive and confidential information and have had to have difficult conversations with clients in the past. I always maintain a professional attitude and with every call my aim is to be as helpful as possible to ensure I provide the best service.

An additional part of my role that I have taken on is the planning and co-ordination of team events such as motivational incentives (step challenges) and management of internal communications.

Mastercard – Sydney Tech Hub – Australia | Team Leader & Internal Employee Events | February 2020 – July 2020

The working environment here encouraged you to go above and beyond for customers, an environment in which I enjoyed working in. My skills were recognised and I was brought in as a Team Leader, co-ordinating and managing any tickets raised and ensuring KPI’s were met.

I would monitor customer feedback and ensure the customers journey was seamless. Though my time here was short, my reliability was proven as I was given high-profile clients to manage including L’Oréal, Dulux, AMEX, and Westpac. There were challenges in this role due to difference in culture and languages, however, I feel I overcame these, and this is proven in my output and relationships with those at Mastercard. Like the role now, I also took on the role of managing internal events for employees, Mastercard wanted to create an engaging culture so that people who were ‘backpacking’ would stay on.

The Feel-Good Clinic – Australia | Office Manager| September 2019 – February 2020

Another role where a high degree of organisation and attention to detail was required. The conversations I would have would often be very sensitive and so professionalism was always required. A part of this role I enjoyed was the constant development and learning I achieved by better understanding mental health issues and dealing with unpredictable situations. My good work here is reflected in the offer of sponsorship by the owner. I turned this down as my roots are in the UK and the UK is where I would like to establish my career.

Argos Financial Services | Financial Administrative Assistant | March 2019 – August 2019

A role held in between travelling, though I was able to develop my skills within customer service and ensure my administration skills were sharp as there were guidelines and regulations to work to.

Ultima Promotions – Marbella | VIP Reservations Manager | April 2018 – January 2019

This role involved building close and trusting relationshipswith international VIP clients. I developed here the ability to identify, understand and cater to different client requirements,no matter how small or large. I managed all social media platforms and ensured the content was suitable for the target audience. My key achievements here were the sell out of Day Events (300 covers) and sell out of Night events (500 covers). I would often work above any KPI’s set, this role was target driven and I enjoyed the pace of work and having the targets to meet.

Agent Provocateur | Supervisor (Part-Time Team Member > Full-Time (during studies) > Supervisor) | April 2015 – May 2018

A role where I was promoted through my time here. I would complete and administer the monthly and weekly trade reports to send to head office ensuring a high degree of attention to detail, there was no room for errors. I would create, communicate, and manage the KPI’s for the team. In this role, I developed very strong customer service skills. A challenge in this role was that I would sometimes have uncomfortable conversations, I would always ensure professionalism.
