About Erin McKenna:
I am a conscientious laboratory team member, highly trained in multiple laboratory techniques. I am a creative and hardworking individual, eager to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.
Experience
My previous roles have been involving the development of a streamlined antibiotic sensitivity testing process for undiagnosed UTIs, and using prototype medical devices to produce and analyse reliable data.
I gained experience in following SOPs and QMS documentation, and working in compliance with GLP as well as developing a good understanding of COSHH.
I was responsible for the implementation of new testing methods and laboratory equipment and training of junior laboratory staff in these processes. I was responsible for workload planning of routine microbiology testing including bacterial identification and culture techniques, and established antibiotic sensitivity test methods.
