My passion for treating data as an asset has driven my career to becoming a Data Management professional
and more. I am committed, goal-oriented and disciplined with a proactive approach to work which enables me
to quickly integrate and build excellent relationships with stakeholders. I strive to ensure the business needs
and expectations are understood, prioritised, and appropriately managed to deliver quality end-to-end business
outcomes within established timelines.

As a data management professional, my experience cuts across data quality management, data governance and information governance. Over 6 years, I have worked in various industries, helping organisations democratise and govern data through ownership and stewardship. I have implemented data governance frameworks, developed and implemented policies, standards and processes to ensure that data is treated as an asset. I have very good experience in developing data management strategies aligned to the overall strategy of the business as well as its implementation. I also develop Key Perfomance Indicators to ensure that initiatives are measured, monitored and reported by creating an operating model for governance of data assets: People, process and tools. It is best practice to educate the business to ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and create a data literate workforce.

My most recent education is Data based. I attained a certification in Data for business people from the prestigious Data Literacy Academy.
