About Fazeela Mahadik:
In today’s tremendously changing working environment, I believe that HR
professionals have a very significant role to play within organisations to support them.
With a Level 7 CIPD qualification, and nearly 16 years of HR experience in various areas of the profession, I believe that I have the necessary skills to contribute and excel in this role.
My diverse experience and in field expertise in policies, legislation and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion has allowed me to achieve significant progression in Human Resources.
In my current role as HR Policy and Projects Lead, in addition to the regular
transactional and operational duties, I have contributed to various change projects including developing and implementing a rewards and retention strategy, workforce strategy and factory manpower planning. My main role in developing and reviewing policies and practices to align them with industry standards have helped me to further
develop my influencing and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders who have been undergoing a transition from a family owned business to a corporate business.
In previous roles I have led on TUPE projects including drafting and negotiating on proposed measures, carrying out town halls, and individual consultations with staff members, and dealing with the strategic and operational issues surrounding the TUPE. I fulfilled the role of a strategic partner to the Professional Services
Directorates, and also an advocate for employees and unions.
I believe in talent acquisition and retention. As a HR professional, my core focus is on the best interests of all in creating an employee centred environment.
My combination of education and experience make me an excellent choice for a role in HR.
