Feba Chinnu Ninan

I hold a master’s degree with distinction in Telecommunications and Wireless Systems from the Queen Mary University of London, interested in training and tutoring Maths, Electronics and Computer science for secondary schools and university students.

For a period of over one year following the completion of my master's degree, I was appointed as a Doctoral candidate at Coventry University, where I had the opportunity to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team on the Humanitarian Engineering and Energy for Displacement (HEED) Project. I attained technical experience from programming sensor devices on an Arduino platform and practical experience from testing and deploying a sensor-based lantern and cookstove monitoring devices in the Rwandan refugee camps. These experiences enabled me to understand and learn the importance of bringing together both technical and practical knowledge.
The travel to the sites of Rwandan Refugee camps for deployment was a great experience in my professional life. This helped me withstand all the difficulties that come across from an unknown place and get self-motivated to achieve the target. Therefore, I firmly believe that these strengths can motivate me to carry out challenging tasks in the field.
