I have just finished my undergraduate degree and I am looking for a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner role 

I am currently working as a bank member of staff with Outcomes First Group as a support worker in a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) residential setting. Through this role, I have obtained first-hand insight into individual experiences of mental health issues among children and young people and witnessed the impact of professionals on their overall well-being. I have supported individuals on a 1:1 basis and worked collaboratively within a team to provide person-centred support and care. 

Alongside this part-time role, I am also involved with the National Youth Advocacy Service as a volunteer independent visitor. Within this role, I act as an independent advocate for a child in the care system through monthly visits that are tailored around supporting their social and emotional development. Through doing this, I have developed skills in organisation, planning, budgeting, and risk assessment, and have gained a nuanced understanding of the ways children’s development can be affected.
