During this period, I worked as a Project Manager within the marketing team at Cyberone Group (UK) Limited, a marketing company based in the UK. My main duties and responsibilities included:

  • Forming own project teams and liaising with local business partners and vendors to conduct tailor made online strategic marketing campaigns.  
  • Discussing commercial terms and conditions, negotiating payment methods with customers

October 2018 – December 2020, Senior Merchandising Manager, Made to Measure team @ TAL Apparel Limited (Hong Kong) 

Reason for leaving: Migrate to the UK.

During this period, I worked as a Senior Merchandising Manager within the Made to Measure team at TAL Apparel Limited, a clothing company based in Hong Kong. My main duties and responsibilities included:

  • Increasing sales by promoting the Made to Measure (MTM) service, a new business channel, to both existing and new clients (business development responsibilities).  
  • Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with new customers, together with the legal team
  • Cross-selling 8 types of garment products to existing MTM customer for suits, outerwear, and knits. 
  • Visiting overseas factories across 4 different countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Mainland China and Malaysia) with our customers to show them the development and process of their product. 
  • Managing and leading a team of 3 merchandisers. 
  • Account management; liaising and visiting existing customers, answering their queries etc. To ensure a smooth and continued relationship and continuous business. 
  • Aligning critical paths (WIP) with all parties and ensuring my team follow up on order flows, factories capacities and outstanding items to achieve on-time shipments and deliveries. 
  • Leading my team to ensure that they work closely with our customers, our overseas factories, internal departments, mills/suppliers from initial concept development to production are completed.
  • Supervising my team on costing preparation based on CMT and desired Profit Margin. Applying negotiating skills to reduce costs (between 5 – 10 %). 
  • Organising regular meetings with the IT department to ensure the MTM system was accessible for the customer. 
  • Collaborating with logistics companies to customise B2B and B2C logistics solutions for all the MTM products.

During this period, I worked as a Senior Merchandising Manager for TAL Apparel Limited, a clothing company based in Hong Kong. My main duties and responsibilities included:

  • Managing and leading a team of 3 merchandisers. 
  • Account Management; managing the accounts for 4 large existing customers. 
  • Reviewing sales and plan development/production ahead according to market trends with all customers. Maximising sales and profits by 15%. Aligning our customers’ needs with company’s business goals and achieving mutual success.
