A self-led individual with an excellent academic and professional experience who enjoys working in a commercial environment and has a keen eye for detail. I have a strong work ethic both academically and professionally, demonstrated by awarded with the “Vice Chancellors International Scholarship” for my postgraduate degree at Newcastle University in 2023/2024 and “Colleague of the year 2022” award at Metro Bank PLC. I am currently undertaking an online course in investment banking and due to gain a MSc in Accounting, Finance, and Financial Analysis and have earned a BSc (hons) in International Business with an obtained 2:1. I have expertise surrounding the financial industry in particular the banking industry.

I worked as a customer service representative / business specialist/ team leader at Metro Bank Leicester Branch. My day to day task are offering banking products to clients ranging from personal up to commercial business customers (turned over at 2m and above). Apart from this, I also coach other colleagues surrounding business banking and managed colleagues in terms of their work flow and store operations. Skills that I have gained are relationship management, time management, leadership, and risk management.

I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Financial Analysis at Newcastle University. I will start in September 2023 and will graduate in September 2024. I have also taken some additional online courses (The complete investment banking course, The complete financial analyst course, and python for financial analyst) the skills that I have acquired are: Creating financial statement and financial modeling on Microsoft excel, capital budgeting, and advanced accounting.
