First Central Insurance- Claims Handler

April 2020-Current

 

• I started this role working from home during COVID-19, I transitioned into the role with no prior insurance background.

•This role has allowed me to proactively collaborate with my colleagues, to allocate and complete necessary tasks in a timely manner to help progress the claims, which helped the customer experience and led to positive feedback from customers.

• I was able to take on more tasks such as processing payments, I was able to deal effectively with contractors to ensure any delays are communicated to the customer to avoid any complaints.

 •Amending crucial claim information to ensure that everything is logged, which is key in meeting the standards of the core values of the business.

 

TSYS- Banking Consultant

October 2019 - March 2020

 

• In this role I have been able to challenge myself everyday, as I navigate the systems and learn which systems to use when dealing with different queries.

•Being able to deal with challenging calls has been a very beneficial experience, as it has allowed me to improve my objection handling techniques and get a better call outcome for customers.

•In the short space of time I have been in this role, I have been able to use my knowledge of the role, to assist my team as floor support for other training groups, this has included being able to do call takeovers for more challenging calls that require more experienced advisors.
