Henna is an ambitious, adaptable and inquisitive Graduate with industry design and retail experience. She possesses a design thinking approach to innovation, to help find solutions that are meaningful and relevant to the user. Her drive to see things through coupled with a pragmatic approach and open mind allow for great problem solving. Microcab Industries, Product Design Intern                                               Placement Year (2018-2019) 

Microcab Industries has pioneered the design of lean weight, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, specifically designed to improve air quality with zero emissions. 

• Research, scoping and feasibility
• Conducted product specific research for client potential pitches
• Created presentations for internal stakeholders
• Translated business and technical requirements, along with the users’ needs into a design proposal, whilst coordinating with technical engineers
• Created mood board/swatches/samples for the proposed interior

Home Bargains, Store Assistant                                                                        Part-time (2018-2019)

Key duties included stock replenishment, cash handling, helping to maintain excellent store standards. Served customers who required assistance and guided them to the purchase which best suited their needs. Performed all necessary duties under a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.                                                                                                             

Clarks, Sales Advisor                                                                                              Temporary (2017)

Key duties included fitting and measuring customers, suggesting products, building rapport by asking and answering questions about what they want and employing suggestive selling techniques. Active role in every stage of the end-to-end selling process and kept the store neat and tidy aswell as helping in the stockroom.                   

Debenhams, Sales Advisor                                                                                     Temporary (2016)        

Key duties included organising new fixtures for stock to be displayed. Contributed to achieving department targets such as online product ordering and creating store Mastercard accounts. Possessed an understanding of merchandise aswell as target Debenhams demographics. Provided exceptional customer service, kept Debenhams high standards by being polite, confident and helpful.
