Henry Kirkman

I am a driven research analyst with expertise in technology trends, data-driven research, and strategic advisory. In addition to my analytical career, I co-founded Carbonware, an Agentic co-worker platform automating repetitive tasks. Leading the commercial side as CEO, we successfully pitched and secured a spot in Series AI, an accelerator by Seedrs and Microsoft. Despite regulatory hurdles leading to the startup's discontinuation, this experience honed my strategic and commercial skills, deepening my understanding of the startup ecosystem. My goal is to leverage this expertise and understanding of being a start up founder to drive strategic investment decisions and foster innovation within venture capital.

Member of the Operational Excellence team, spearheading research initiatives and advisory in AI, Computer Vision, smart factories, IoT, and asset management solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate and thorough understanding of the industrial technology landscape
• Develop and maintain a strong network with technology firms and founders
• Provide strategic recommendations for firms on their product and go-to market strategy
• Perform acquisition due diligence for investment firms 
• Completed a market size and forecasting for the field service management market and the connect worker market
• Advised a major EHS/ESG technology vendor on their AI strategy and product roadmap
• Advised a IoT platform on their go-to market strategy 
• Developed a ROI calculator model for a major industrial software firm to use for sales
• Part of the team who built the data foundation for a climate benchmarking solution. Built my own AI tool to increase productivity

• Carbonware: An Agentic co-worker platform that automates all your repetitive and mundane tasks, seamlessly integrating with both desktop and browser environments.
• Problem Statement: Back office workers spend valuable time on mundane, repetitive tasks. Traditional robotic process automation tools are often difficult to set up, costly to implement, lack intelligent decision-making capabilities, and offer limited flexibility.
• Accelerator: We pitched our idea and got accepted into Series AI, an accelerator built by a collaboration between Seedrs and Microsoft.
• I lead the commercial side of the business, including applications into accelerators and the development of pitch decks.
• We discontinued the business due to barriers from GDPR regulations and terms and conditions of bot scraping on websites.
