Holly Riley

I currently work for Kent Police as a Detective Constable within the Child and Adult Protection Team. I have been with the force for almost four years and in my current role for just over two years. My work primarily involves investigating sensitive offences relating to children, while also gaining experience in adult safeguarding investigations, including fraud and financial crime.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, Pilates, and long walks with my dog. I regularly visit London and maintaining a healthy work–life balance is very important to me.

I am a serving police officer with Kent Police and an accredited detective with over two years’ experience in child and adult protection and domestic abuse investigations. My role involves extensive safeguarding, risk management, multi-agency working, and ongoing professional training. Prior to joining the police, I worked as a front-of-house receptionist for Toyota while studying Criminology, developing strong communication and teamwork skills.

I attended the University of Greenwich between 2018-2021 to study Criminology and graduated with a first class honours degree.
