Idris Abdullah

I am a dedicated young professional with great team working, communication and interpersonal skills, who has a strong desire to learn and grow. My enthusiasm for personal and professional development drives me to continually seek new opportunities to expand my skill set. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can use my practical and people skills to excel both individually and as part of a team.

With almost two years of office experience, I am very familiar with the unpredictability of this environment. The flexibility of my skills allows me to adapt and deal with unexpected challenges. Furthermore, during my time at the office, I immersed myself in various tasks as I didn’t shy away from new challenges and constantly sought new opportunities to learn and develop. Due to my inquisitive nature, I don’t shy away from asking questions and I am open to sharing my thoughts and ideas.

Naturally from my experiences, I have adapted to a digital working life with heavy use of IT for tasks and communication. Currently I am working towards an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level qualification with my test booked for the near future (13/09/2022). 

I have worked on placement in a total of five different offices around Manchester as an architectural engineering apprentice under the company North East Apprenticeship Company (NEAC) over the course of over a year and a half. With this magnitude and range of professional experience I am more than accustomed to working as a member of many teams, I have dealt with many clients and stakeholders and in general I am comfortable and familiar with how a professional working life works. It has taught me professional skills and, arguably most importantly, to not shy away from seeking guidance from peers for personal growth whilst also having confidence in myself to complete tasks within given deadlines to be a valued member of the team.
