Optimum Technology Transfer: ERP Adoption Consultant: September 2022 – Current

  • Provided support to large companies, such as Whitworth Brothers by providing bespoke training solutions and tech-based learning resources. 
  • Engaged with 360 consultancy projects involving client relationship building and workshops. 
  • Led Knowledge transfer meetings with SMEs, facilitated the development of end user training materials and courses for ERP systems. 
  • Gained knowledge of the importance of strategic planning in business and the methods of both project training and delivery, through analytical thinking and variety of communication methods.
  • Developed a real understanding of how business operate and how they cohere and react to change.

Northern Gas and Power: Business Account Manager: December 2021- June 2022                                                      

  • Account manager responsible for developing new business contracts, supplying electricity and power services in a highly competitive marketplace. 
  • Researched new business leads and employed sales strategy to maximise engagement and deliver new sales contracts.
  • High level customer engagement maximising personal acumen with an agile sales approach to close sales.

  • Developed a deep understanding of the theory and practice of International Management and Marketing, with particular emphasis on strategic and tactical aspects of business and international trade. 
  • Established sustainable business models and formulated inclusive marketing plans including corporate social responsibility and best practice. 
  • Developed international marketing strategies for actual UK companies, considering the international and cultural complexities surrounding the product and its marketplace. 
  • Dissertation project created a tool to enhance managers social responsibility and innovation as well as corporate sustainability for SME businesses. Involving secondary research analysis to formulate an innovative game to be used by managers. 
  • Presented findings to company CEO who then implemented the tool in the international market. 
  • Led group discussions and seminars, presenting opinions and ideas coherently and concisely.  
  • Conducted market research in the form of questionnaires and analysed these to draw significant conclusions.
  • Worked as part of a management team in a strategic business simulation over an extended 3-week period, where live market volatility led to daily critical decision making, testing management competencies. I undertook a leadership role facilitating effective group discussions, giving me the confidence to manage conflicting demands and strict deadlines, in support of a team and on my own initiative. 
    1. (High) - BSc (Hons) Psychology (Newcastle University)

 

 

  • Internationally regarded Undergraduate degree covered all aspects of Psychology including, social, biological, and cognitive psychology, incorporating detailed research methods and their analysis. 
  • Psychology is intrinsic in consumer decision making. The course included extensive project work developing psychological analysis of product design and marketing. 
  • Developed multiple hypothetical advertising and marketing strategies supported by individual psychological rationales to maximise effectiveness. 
  • Advanced consumer psychology research methods including, consumer targeting and aspirational analysis, particularly of millennial preferences – using latest statistical computer modelling and bespoke algorithms.
  • Designed, developed, and applied advanced empirical study relating to altruistic behaviour, exploring the rationale behind the willingness of individuals to incur a cost to themselves for the benefit of another person. 
  • Extended field based psychological experiment analysing a diverse range of children and their abilities, culminating in a detailed presentation of the psychological analysis. 
  • Social psychology enabled me to understand behaviour and influences in social contexts and the relevance and importance of relationships in the business world, such as those between a company and its customers or a brand and its global reach, the senior management team and its investors or shareholders.
