Jade Turner

I have 3 years experience working in a childcare nursery setting, where i have gained my level 2 and 3 in childcare.  
I worked at a montessori nursery where it was child led and we encouraged independence. I worked mostly in the baby room, helping settle in new starters from the early ages of 8 months. 
I also have experience of working with children up to the age of pre school. As other areas of the nursery may of needed support. 
My job role supports childrens needs, following the EYFS curriculum. I follow guided instructions of where childrens development should be for their age range. 
I set up daily activities to support children in learning,  progression and to support areas where they may need encouragement. 
We use wellcome which is a speece and language toolkit from screening and intervention. 
I build trusting relationship's with children and parents to enable trust and comfort when dropping and picking up. Nurturing them, enabling them to grow in confidence and learn. 
Before i started at Holly Grange montessori nursery i volunteered for a short time to support my level 2 qualification in a primary school supporing children in reception. 
I would help with listening to children read independently on a 1 to 1 basis. I would help with spellings and the teachers would guide me in ways that i could support the children who needed it most. 

I currently work for the NHS in a very busy A&E  department. 
I am a very hard working person, who thrives of helping and caring for individuals.
I have received recognition from a senior member of staff for my hard work and commitment to my colleagues, my patients and the area i work in. 

I have always had a passion to help children and support parents ,and i hope this is an opportunity for me to fulfill my dreams.

I have completed my level 3 NVQ as a senior healthcare assistant. 

I am competent in bloods, Ecgs, and observations. 

I also hold a NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare. 

I am 100% complient with my E learning. 

I have experience of being a supervisor managing staff and delegating jobs. 

I work well in a team aswell as using my intuitive to work alone. I have great people skills and am very approachable with great customer service. 

I have many years experience of working with the public.

In my job role i started as an apprentice healthcare assistant completing my level 3. I then grew to become a band 3 where I was able to complete and learn many new skills.
