  • To ensure that engineering changes to GEVC manufactured vehicles, are introduced using a timely, structured & systematic approach; managing an unproblematic uniform process to provide an always accurate bill of materials (BoM).
  • Engineering, Operations, Logistics & Manufacturing change activities to support the addition or deletion of old, new or modified parts.

To assist the Outfit Manager to determine the baseline PLM solution to be taken forward from Stage 1 into Stage 2 Design. The Engineer will be part of a team undertaking analysis of all Outfit parts for the PLM database to progressively establish and manage information to discharge the growing scope of work proceeding into Stage 2 Design. 

  • Assist in managing the input of data ,received from a team of engineers, into the  allocated PLM systems within the responsibility of the Outfit Team.
  • Provide technical guidance and requirements identification for the usage of the PLM toolset within the Stage 1 O&A Team.
  • Design and implementation of lean processes to streamline iBoM population and part creation within the PLM Tool.
  • Have an applied knowledge of PDMLink/Windchill, and a proven background in setting up and maintaining PDM toolsets operating with various CAD & ERP inputs
