About Jay Kanda:
I am a graduate of Imperial College London with an MSc in Statistics (Statistical Finance) and a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics. My background is rooted in rigorous mathematical theory and computational implementation of statistical models.
Key highlights:
• Academic excellence: Awarded the Rajendra Bhansali Prize for excellence in statistics during my MSc.
• Statistical research: Implemented a novel surrogate-based methodology for sampling high-dimensional Bayesian posteriors in R for my MSc thesis.
