I am currently the Kitchen Manager within a privately run 58 bed care home where I manage a diverse team of 12 people.  I have been in this role for 15 years and in that time I have built a skilled and dedicated team of staff who have also been with me for many years. I believe this is down to my ability to manage my staff well and create an environment where staff enjoy their work and where they feel valued and appreciated.

Quality Assurance Manager – design & implementation of improved performance practises, efficiencies and quality control, regulatory and compliance across a business

• Team Management / Trainer– Staffing, Appraisals, staff performance and PDPs, leading Training & Compliance, licensing, Food Safety programmes, train / mentor new recruits.

• Kitchen Manager – HNC Hospitality, 15 years of developing client menus and improving nutrition of meals.  

• Business Management – production/design of weekly food budgets for commercial kitchens, over-saw set-up of new Farm Shop business, liaison with external suppliers & regulators.
