Jonny Sheldrake

A Corporate Sustainability professional with consultancy experience for both large and small corporate
clients, including FTSE 100 and S&P 500 companies. Recent focus has been on the entire
sustainability reporting cycle from regulatory alignment through to drafting and writing reports. Also
supported client’s sustainability systems as well as external auditing and data verification processes. I
hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and History and a Masters in International Development.

Managing Consultant - ESG Strategy & Reporting - Verisk Maplecroft, Remote / London UK (April 2024-present)
▪ Management of ESG strategy projects & business winning of £500k
▪ Development of new processes to meet emerging reporting regulations such as the CSRD (ESRS) & ISSB Standards including policy alignment and audits
▪ Management of junior consultants and analysts on a range of reporting projects
▪ Advising several global clients on ESG disclosures in annual reports including the drafting and writing of reports and alignment to regulatory filling requirements
▪ Stakeholder engagement for client organisations including the development of board packs communicating reporting requirements
▪ Delivering and developing processes for double materiality assessments aligned to EFRAG guidance
▪ Undertook a gap analysis and developed a sustainability reporting roadmap for a FTSE100 taking into account a range of current and future reporting requirements such as the UK SDS (ISSB), current FCA requirements & CSRD (ESRS)
▪ Supported other Maplecroft consultancy areas such as climate change including physical and transitional climate scenario analysis and developing financial related metrics aligned to FCA / TCFD requirements
▪ Development of Sustainability reporting guidelines, methodologies and BMS documents on behalf of clients
