Jos Morrissey

An accomplished Cable Engineer, I am a highly motivated and confident individual, with good interpersonal skills.
I thrive off challenge, work hard and am driven to succeed. I am currently employed as a Cabling Supervisor, looking after the processes of FTTP, blowing, civils work and quality
assurance (including asset registry). A typical working week involves managing a weekly schedule to ensure deadlines
are met, delegating duties to my team members effectively, ensuring all tasks are achieved to the BT spec.
No 2 days are the same, while managing and supervising some days, other days I am the first one to step in and get
my hands dirty, to ensure deadlines are met.

It has also been recognised by the Senior Team at GES, that I have good management and leadership skills. Because of
this, GES allocated two apprentices to me, with no experience in the industry, and asked me to train and teach them,
while on the job. This has been positively received by both the apprentices and its success recognised by the Senior
Team at GES.

Level 3 Technical apprentice in Fibre and copper installation
