§  Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the event spaces and cross charge budgets, throughout the financial year.

§  Ensure that customer requirements are effectively obtained, documented and communicated to all relevant parties. In conjunction with the Facilities Manager and the Catering Manager within each venue, to ensure that support services are delivered in a safe, efficient, and timely customer-focused manner.

§  Being in charge of all aspects of the business

§  Managing and continuously training to improve the performance of a team consisting of 45 employees

§  Fully accountable for P&L

§  Manage staff costs and review rotas accordingly

§  Data management including weekly financial reports, payroll and food wastage reports.

§  Responsible for food safety, weekly QSEH reports and stock control.

§  Responsible to meet the monthly KPIs 

§  Raised customers satisfaction in regard to hospitality services level from 81% to 93% 

§  Develop and implement new hospitality strategies for other Interserve contracts such as Irwin Mitchel 

 

 

 Event Manager, The Dorchester Hotel                                August 2011 – February 2013

  • Manage all Conference and Events floor operations
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service to ensure client specifications have been met, liaise with kitchen and F&B Manager to cover all aspects.
  • Consistent check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and Plate presentation.
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
