With a career in the Creative industry for over 26 years, my passion lies in design. Being at the forefront of transforming an idea or a piece of communication into a powerful visual narrative has always been inspiring and rewarding. With a BA Honours in Applied and Media Arts and a Diploma in Graphic Design, I have developed a diverse portfolio of creative knowledge with extensive experience in team leadership. Whether it be studio management, design strategies, brand profiling, customer communications or stakeholder engagement, everything I do is embedded in determination, innovation and incredible energy. Never faltering under pressure I deliver the best results with a team oriented mindset and enthusiasm.

PURE INTERNATIONAL (HK) LIMITED 2008-2023

15 years at PURE international has been an incredible journey and has set me in a good stead for transferring this experience to the UK. Accountable for leading the design strategy, I supervised the creative output of the studio, playing an integral role in brand architecture by raising the profile of the brand with standardised communications/representation. A big part of the role was collaborative working where I was the hub of information with different business units, building stakeholder networks with photographers, copywriters and agencies whilst also steering the design process to integrate trends into multi-channel creative output. 

As a team leader, I steered team performance, offering guidance and promoting transparency where every idea was given the opportunity to shine and ensuring teams felt inspired to think out of the box at every opportunity. Positioned at the Hong Kong office, I facilitated partnerships between creative teams in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai by sharing project insights and best practice/challenges with a view to building unity across our company operations and prioritise team engagement.

I completed my studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Professional Education and Executive Development in 2021, where I achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Applied and Media Arts. Unlike many of my peers, I took a different career path and immersed myself in the creative industry for over 20 years, receiving recognition for my accomplishments. Eventually, I decided to further my education to pursue excellence.
