Kirk Cousins

As of 2022, I have worked on four independent feature films and I worked within the camera department. My roles have varied from 2nd AC, Camera Assistant and Runner.

When I have worked on independent feature films for different companies, whilst freelancing this gave me the stepping stone to experience a film set and learn from the nuts and bolts and logistics of a film. Moreover exhibiting a professional attitude and having the ability to think on my feet.

I am viable with editing software such as Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and LumaFusion. I’ve experimented with different cameras over the years including BMPCC 4K (own), Blackmagic Ursa Mini, Canon C100 and C200, and Arri Alexa Mini.

I’m motivated by additional activities including writing, shooting and editing my short films and short documentaries. I am always eager and passionate about learning and experimenting with different cameras on location to help tell a story.  I attend a variety of camera trade shows, film festivals and networking events.
