Occupational Therapy Student – University of Salford – (Sep 2020 - to date) 

Completed placements in various settings including palliative care, forensic mental health, and general medicine. Worked closely with other professionals across the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best care for the patients. Developed documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and management of self throughout this time. 

Waitress – Portofino Restaurant – (May 2021 - to date)  

Greeting and booking in guests, taking orders, collecting payments, and answering questions about the menu and any allergies. Relaying information to kitchen staff, preparing tables, and restocking the bar. 

Sales Assistant – House of Fraser – Apr 2019 to Mar 2020 

Answering customer queries and complaints. Processing refunds, cash, and card payments. Dealing with deliveries, stocking shelves, and preparing displays. Keeping the store clean and tidy. 

Receptionist – Dufton Kellner Accountants – Jun 2018 

Completed various tasks on reception for 2 weeks to cover holiday absence, including answering the phone, greeting clients, organising meeting rooms, and completing bookkeeping work.

I have recently dropped out of university after realising that the course wasn’t for me. I want to go in a different direction with my career, whilst still being able to work within the healthcare setting and so I am interested in a career as a dental nurse.

A bit more about me 

  • Volunteer as a scout leader with The Scout Association through my local scout group (12th Wallasey) for the past 3 years, prior to this I was a young leader. 
  • Interests include stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, painting, spending time with my family, and walking the dogs.
