I am a hard working and reliable individual who works well under pressure. I have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. I have over 7 years of experience in the retail sector but am open to pursuing new opportunities and challenging myself. I am a quick learner and thrive of learning new skills.

I started off as a sales assistant where my duties included providing top customer service; delivery; processing sales on the till; maintaining a clean and tidy shop floor 

After 6 months I got offered the opportunity to progress to a Visual Merchandiser where I carried out moves depending on sales and new product; changed window campaigns when required to do so; allocated spaces for new lines; kept mannequins up to date in relevant stock; played a key role during prep for summer and Christmas sale periods and trained new members of staff on basic standards required of their role. 
 

I was a town merchandiser for a little while before deciding I wanted a change where I then became a floor manager which roles included cashing up; delegating jobs to staff members; allocating sections and lunches for the days trade; overseeing the floor to ensure a top standard was maintained consistently and ensuring daily targets for the store were being met. 

After a year and a half I got offered an opportunity to work in the Crawley store as an assistant manager where I did much of the same job as well as carrying out interviews and hiring new employees; ensuring new members of staff were fully trained in their job roles; ensuring the store was ran smoothly and efficiently; prepared for and took part of visits from area and regional managers and ensured sale targets and conversion rates were being met.

I was an assistant manager for almost 2 years but unfortunately living in Brighton, travel to and from work began to take its toll, leaving me no choice but to return to the Brighton store, where I am now a Senior Floor Manager which include much of the same duties.
