Levi Gee

I am a British National seeking to live and work in Italy, Rome for the foreseeable future. I am currently a Bar Manager and Cocktail Bartender in the United Kingdom. I have seven years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, ranging from a Luxury Hotel to Restaurants and Cocktail Bars. My main experience and expertise has been in the Cocktail Bar industry. I have been told that I am an enthusiastic, dedicated and innovative individual. 

I want to expand my knowledge and skills, learn from the best and support those around me so they can become their best.

I love Rock Climbing, Staying fit, Bushcraft, Nature, Poetry and Reading.

In my experience as a Bartender I have gained a wide variety of functional and soft skills. An example of one of these skills would be Resilience. This skill has come from being in adverse situations, whilst in the center of a high volume Cocktail bar, it has allowed me to work efficiently in a limited space and work cohesively under pressure. I have learnt to handle delicate complaints and requests from guests. 

As a Bar Manager I had the pleasure of training forty two Bartenders over a two year period for two separate companies. This experience has enabled me to learn how to tailor training and learning environments for my colleagues. By doing so, I have been able to aid them in reaching their potential and goals. I am confident that the right personalities in a bar are worth investing in. I have taken this ideology and been successful in raising the reputation, quality of product and service standard in this bar by training those who share the same passion.

Not only do I Bartend and Manage, but I am restlessly learning and studying to better myself, not only in my profession but additionally my personal life. I have been working in Events and Private Parties such as Weddings and Brand sponsorships. The most notable Event I did this year were the Ashes games for Australia Vs England. 

I am utilizing new mixology techniques such as Fractal Distillation to create never seen before beverages. 

I am hosting and competing in Cocktail Competitions for brands such as Hendricks Gin, Absolut Vodka, Nikka Days and Black Tot Rum. This has been in partnership with Pernod Ricard and Speciality Brands. Working closely with Brand Ambassadors and other bars to create a community in the South East of England has inspired me to seek more than simply bartend. Most recently I have judged at a local Cocktail Competition for a Gin Bar with brand ambassadors from Hendrick's Gin. Also I've had the privilege of one of my signature cocktails featured in a lifestyle and property magazine by Hat & Home LTD. 

I have had part Spanish & English Primary Education.

English Secondary Education. 

Further Education in Uniformed Public Services. A* A A 

I have several professional qualifications and licenses in Hospitality.
