About liam Sargeant:
To whom it may concern,
I have recently qualified for a CSCS health and safety card as well as being enrolled in a professional electrical course with access training thus looking towards a position in the electrical trade.
I am available to start as soon as possible, my most recent position was in the automotive trade as a NVQ level 3 Automotive technician however I’m looking to change career path to the electrical trade. Being a mechanic has helped me develop hands on skills using various tools as well as techniques. I have worked on vehicles rewiring airbag systems, CAN bus systems which works as the vehicles data relay meaning they have a fine tolerance. Fault finding is a technique I have perfected during the 4 years as a technician, allowing me to navigate, read and locate the faults using wiring diagrams.
Within my qualifications I have a NVQ level 3 diploma in engineering as a CNC programmer for the aerospace industry. This job role involved writing code for Computer controlled lathes and mills to cut metals within a certain specification. The tolerances of these were very fine and required mathematical skills much like the equations used to work out wire length and resistance for a client.
Previous experience with electrical installation also includes a Level 2 B-TEC diploma in rewiring domestic dwellings. This was during my general engineering course at prospects college and has taught me the fundamental basics of rewiring systems.
Thank you for taking the time to read my application, I hope to hear from you soon.
Many thanks,
Liam Sargeant
