I am a hard working individual with a keen eye for detail. I execute deadlines continually and look to apply improvements where possible. I am highly organised and relied on to complete tasks whether regular or ad-hoc. I will always attempt to assist the wider team when needed and I work well as part of a team or independently.

I am looking for a new challenge to further expand my accountancy knowledge and progression within finance.

I started at my current company in March 2020 in the Purchase Ledger team. My responsibilities in this team was to register high volumes of invoices daily, monitor the inbox, prepare payment runs through to payment, resolve queries, reconcile statements, record and allocate direct debit transactions plus ad-hoc. In the restructure I applied for the Finance Assistant role within Financial Reporting team and my responsibilities changed to regular monthly accruals, prepayments, preparation of quarterly VAT returns and yearly Statutory Accounts. I also complete balance sheet reconciliations alongside queries, and variance analysis monthly. I often volunteer to anssist other teams when required on a short terms basis to support the wider department overall.
