April 2018 - March 2022 - Head of Marketing for Worknest formerly Ellis Whittam
- I have planned and developed a whole new marketing strategy starting from the bottom up with new team members, new brand and a lead generation strategy for new business and retention.
- Reignited relationships with key partners to help distribute our product and service knowledge to help promote Ellis Whittam,
- Rolled out a full event strategy to showcase the quality service they deliver.
- Created MI reports to assist board meetings and showcase the return on investment from the Marketing Department.
- Managed and optimised a lead generation strategy targeting Uk businesses, consistently hitting target of providing 100’s of enquiries across a mixture of marketing channels from direct mail, HTML, digital, affiliate and automations to inside telesales team on a monthly basis. Resulting in 12% growth over the past 12 months .
- Project managed a full rebrand and brought together 9 separate brands into one business. Including people management making sure the whole process was done with energy and enthusiasm.
Nov 2014 - April 2018 - Marketing Director - Capify
- I have developed, managed and optimised a lead generation strategy targeting UK SME businesses in particular the retail and hospitality industry for alternative finance, consistently hitting target of providing 1000’s of enquiries across a mixture of marketing channels from direct mail, HTML, digital, affiliate and automations to inside telesales team on a monthly basis. Resulting in funding growth of 46% year on year. Taking funded amounts from under £100,000 to £10 million.
- Global marketing strategy - with offices in New York, Sydney and Toronto coordinating several team efforts and streamlining marketing activities implementing task ray and a global campaign calendar. I put together a KPI structure and global strategy to achieve best results from the global team effective communication with weekly calls with all offices out of hours.
- Aided the senior management team taking their projections and working the figure backwards to create a strategic plan on increasing lead volumes and also improving conversions to build a KPI structure for all teams to hit.
- Implemented modern marketing practises of content marketing, social media and automation delivering 84% relevant traffic growth leading to 70% more enquiries. Improving web traffic by 100%. Achieving google ranking #1 Whilst conscious of implementing modern methods there is consistent focus on quality of leads, efficiency and time management of the staff involved and ROI
- Headed a global rebrand between 4 countries with successful implementation within 90 days. All 4 offices operated under separate established brand names. I was responsible for delivering the project from concept, logo creation, brand standards, document upgrades, change management and PR. This was implemented successfully with the pinnacle moment of seeing the Capify logo lit up in Times Square, New York.
- Aside from creating leads for new business I have also been responsible for other departments within the company, recently upgrading and modernising Capify’s complimentary product and separate company United Merchant Services - creating a new website, new literature and implementing a new lead generation strategy.
- Building a retention strategy using a relatively new method of marketing automation this strategy has been built to nurture customers from initial on boarding to encourage trust pilot reviews and referrals yet also keeping them engaged with the Capify Brand through content marketing.
I also attend a strategy meeting with all offices on a yearly basis in New York, it is here that I construct and present a review on yearly performance and Marketing
