Experience
I am a registered nurse with over 25 years’ experience in oncology, haematology, clinical trials and healthcare leadership. I have worked across the NHS as well as the private sector.
I have strong cancer expertise, knowledge and experience in the clinical delivery of services adhering to national best practice.
I have the ability to support the development of and drive an operational strategy with strong quality orientation and patient focus.
As a previous CQC registered manager I understand and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies across the 4 nations and have the skills and knowledge to provide leadership across patient safety and safeguarding.
My managerial experience includes the ability to provide evidence against quality, cost, efficiency and KPIs, using data analysis and business intelligence.
I can critically analyse business situations, build capacity and drive safe staffing models.
I have strong commercial and business acumen, communication and presentation skills and enjoy building and developing stakeholder relationships to promote growth and develop services.
I have strong team management skills and work collaboratively with others to build effective and achieving teams.
I have excellent problem-solving skills and am able to think strategically and make sound clinical and managerial decisions.
I have well developed project and change management skills and support others to develop in this area using organisational, prioritisation and delegation skills.
I am passionate about ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care possible and that those I work with are happy in their work. Every decision I make is driven by these goals.
