I am writing to apply for the Data Entry position. I currently work in a full-time 9–5 role and I am not planning to leave my job. I am seeking an additional opportunity where I can use my skills in a flexible role outside my regular working hours.

In my current position, I regularly work with databases, spreadsheets, and records management. I am experienced in entering, updating, and checking data accurately. My role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to meet deadlines, which are essential skills for data entry work.

I am highly organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently. I understand the importance of accuracy and consistency, and I always ensure that tasks are completed carefully and on time.

I am confident that I can successfully manage this role alongside my current job and deliver high-quality, accurate work.

Approximate rate: £ 12 per hour

Experience

I am an experienced operations and support service professional with a strong background in administration, compliance, and team management. I currently work as a Support Service Manager within a healthcare education department, where I manage databases, coordinate operational processes, support governance requirements, and analyse performance data.

Previously, I worked for several years at Tesco as both a Line Manager and Compliance Manager, where I led teams, ensured regulatory compliance, improved processes, and managed performance. Across my roles, I have developed strong organisational skills, attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage complex workloads efficiently.

I am confident working with data, systems, and reporting, and I am known for being reliable, structured, and results-focused.

Education

I have completed training and education in Microsoft Office efficiency, IT, and Human Resource Management. My Microsoft training has strengthened my skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and data handling, enabling me to manage records, reporting, and administrative tasks efficiently.

My IT background has given me a solid understanding of systems, databases, and digital processes. In addition, my studies in Human Resource Management have provided me with knowledge of people management, workplace policies, performance management, and organisational procedures.

Together, these areas of education support my strong administrative, data management, and organisational capabilities.
