About Seymour Shaw:
I am a recent LSE BSc in Economic History graduate, and have gained experience across private banking, research, and Credit and Political Risk underwriting. My strongest interest is in emerging market economies, which I’ve explored academically, through personal reading, and through my role as President of a student society (developing markets).
I was fortunate to spend a year in Credit and Political Risk insurance, where I investigated country and credit risk across sovereigns, corporates, and traders. I particularly enjoyed the blend of macroeconomic analysis, current affairs, and writing-intensive work.
I am now looking to build a career in Credit and Political Risk, as well as international development, business intelligence, or policy. I am motivated by work that tackles the drivers of macroeconomic change and political decision-making, and I aim to contribute through strong analytical and inter-personal skills.
