Maria Perez

I am a fully qualified native Spanish teacher having obtained Qualified Teacher Status which enables me to work in England, Spain, and abroad.

My teaching career has been geared mainly towards primary and secondary school students. 

I have a lot of experience, energy (I love what I do), enthusiasm and commitment to help children to learn Spanish to a higher level. I work very well under pressure; I am good at finding constructive solutions in order to help students flourish.

I have 6 years’ experience working as a Spanish teacher in various Primary schools across London. 

I have just finished my contract as a Primary Spanish teacher in two schools in Wembley, UK  in July 2023.

I previously worked as a Spanish teacher at “Primary School 21” and “Middle School 21” in Stratford, and on Saturdays I also taught Spanish at Latin American House in Kilburn.

Since October 2017 until April 2019, I worked at three separate schools, at Jerounds Primary School in Harlow, at Princess May Primary School in Hackney, and at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary school in Hanwell.

I also have two years’ experience working as a Spanish language assistant at a Secondary School in England. I am confident in my ability and believe that I would be a valuable asset to your school.
 

I have a qualification at degree level equivalent to a British BA with Honours in English/Spanish Philology, I have a Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude similar to the English PGCE qualification and I hold UK QTS.

I also obtained an Award in Education and Training, City of Westminster College, UK. 

From 2018- to present , I am taking part in different CPD Courses for teachers (Safeguarding, Behaviour Management skills for Pupil Referral Units, Prevent Duty, Team Teach, Creating Behaviour for learning, Effective questioning in the classroom, How to plan a good lesson in accordance with Ofsted, EAL learners in the Mainstream classroom, Teaching Online), etc.
