Services provided
I am a postgraduate of an International Relations discipline, with twenty years of professional employment experience; most recently as the Senior Manager for a fraudulent document detection organisation. I have achieved various skills from my academic and professional backgrounds: I am a diligent and fast learner, proficient at working in high-pressure and high-risk environments, capable to work independently or as part of a successful team, and in professional relationship-building at all levels.
Experience
Beginning as an analyst, I was promoted to manager in 2021 and to the senior manager position in 2023, finally heading a team of over 60 people. This niche role was primarily to determine counterfeit identity documents, as well as to advise on UK Right to Work legislation, working in cooperation with the Metropolitan Police and the National Document Fraud Unit at the Home Office.
From 2020 to 2023, the company underwent a considerable expansion, of which I was able to play a significant role. During my leadership, the analyst team grew from 12 to over 60 employees, government certification as an Identity Service Provider was achieved, various audit certifications were passed, multiple new market opportunities were initiated, and business operations were transformed as we evolved from a small to a medium-sized company.
Some of my biggest contributions were the groundwork system process map to expand into the Irish Right to Work market; providing document fraud information that assisted in uncovering a modern slavery criminal organisation; and a multi-functional interactive database that was expanded as a pivotal team resource in standardising Right to Work outcomes and lowering error rates. This reduced average analyst processing times by over 50 percent, significantly contributing to the company’s ability to upscale.
Prior to this, I have had considerable experience as a risk intelligence analyst for a travel security company, and as team supervisors within financial institutions for international high-value payments and standalone bonds.
Education
I have been awarded a Master's Degree in International Political Economy and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Politics, both from the University of Warwick.
