I have been in a number of Senior HRBP/HRBP roles across a number of NHS Trusts largely in interim or FTC HR roles , working on a range of both strategic change and operational programmes, covering a portfolio of ER caseloads including managing major and minor TUPE projects under management of change initiatives , projects covering workforce planning consultation programmes, in addition to working on set assignments such as reducing sickness strategies, cost saving SIPs projects or responsibility for reducing backlogs of ER caseloads
i am currently the HR lead responsible for workforce strategy and employee relations management for both CAMHS and AED business units, incorporating all the planning and business KPI HR deliverables, working with the business recruitment HODs and leads to plan effective recruitment and retention plans, their fill rates and monitoring the quality aspects of the process for the Executive leads.
I have managed the corporate relationships and elements of the HR Department risk register, both working collaboratively and in partnership with other HR Senior staff, Advisors and Management across the business at all levels. I also have ESR, medical records HR experience and MHPS experience.
I have provided professional HR advice and coaching support to senior leaders within Trusts in the identification and management of workforce issues and major change programmes across the NHS in support of the NHS people plan
I have lots of experience in working with RCN, Unite and Unison Trade Union leads in support of JSSC and SPF meetings, both in partnership with Trusts solicitors, led on employment tribunal preparation and defence for the Trust and planned & prepared financial settlements in line with Trust SFIs.
I have managed teams of HR Advisors, (both on site remotely as required).
I’ve developed and implemented Trust HR policies and interpret employment legislation and case law and implemented the required changes to Trust wide practices as required in support of pre audit and CQC inspections.
