Michael Dicken

My career so far has allowed me to work in many different sectors (including: live sports television, exhibition design, 3D rendering, graphic design and motion graphics) within the design industry.

In my tenure at Direct Business Group (also known as Direct Business Solutions), I have been instrumental in creating a wide array of marketing materials. My contributions have spanned from designing brochures and managing social media content to developing websites, user interface designs for numerous software applications, and producing engaging YouTube videos. Alongside my full-time employment I also occasionally pick up freelance projects. Recently I have been lucky enough to have completed a project for Richard Thompson OBE, designing the artwork for his upcoming album: ‘Ship To Shore.’ Whilst the album itself releases on May 31st 2024, posters featuring the album artwork can be seen around major cities in the UK and US.

I am also proficient in 3D design and visualisation, having self taught myself numerous different pieces of software at my previous role of Renders and Animations Designer at Tecna UK. This role included providing realistic looking 3D visuals of exhibition stands, client experiences and sometimes a little architectural work as freelance on the side.

I obtained a BA (Hons) Creative Digital Media from the University of Worcester in 2019.
