Michael Wright

I am a trainee secondary school teacher with 6 years of experience in the catering industry looking for a change in career that better utilizes my strengths. I have thoroughly enjoyed working within the school community, helping to foster an inclusive, welcoming environment in the classroom.

I have extensive experience working in the catering industry. I have worked as a kitchen porter and assistant, starting at 14-15 and continuing through my A-level studies until I left for university at 18. There I spent the majority of my undergraduate work in the Students Union as a member of the catering staff. 

Thanks to my time in the industry I have experience catering to large events such as local Christmas and music festivals, as well as working well within a team tackling the demands of catering. My goal is to develop my skills in public relations to turn them into a career.
