In my role as a trainee auto-mechanic, I’ve had a great experience learning first-hand how a garage runs. Spending 5 months here and learning from highly skilled people with decades of experience in the trade. This allowed me to understand how different tools are used for each specific job. Furthermore, using basic knowledge of how components work and diagnosing problems back to the main cause has been a great experience and further impelled my knowledge and understanding. My responsibilities included:

• Assisting big jobs e.g., Engine rebuilds, clutch jobs.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting
• Parts replacement 
• Computer diagnostics
• Brake and suspension repair
