My duties were to protect the public and stop merchandise theft and prevent thefts.

- Keep up-to-date communication with employees and patrons of the store

- Document theft and other violations of security, and report activity observed on duty.

- De-escalating issues; informing the general public of ongoing situations and policies, safeguarding, conflict

management, fire safety and evacuation etc.

- Deactivating alarm systems

TSS - Retail security guard: Jan 2022- ongoing (ZHC)

I worked as a part of a team at numerous retail shops as a guard. My responsibilities were to help retail customers and

to prevent overcrowding and deter thefts.

- Working at various events and retail stores

- Consists of similar responsibilities to Tk Maxx role

- Writing reports about incidents using company portal instant reporting app

- Hazard awareness and precautions- Placing warning signs etc.

I worked as a part of a team at numerous events as a steward. My responsibilities were to help security with spectators

and to prevent overcrowding.

- Assisting and ushering attendees; helping with public accessibility

- Stewarding VIP and artist area points

- Monitoring activity and communicating with security and event team

- Crowd safety and control: persuading and negotiating with the public, keeping my delegated post, risk

assessment, reporting, acquiring first-aid etc.

- Remaining and assisting with those who need help leaving the event; lost and found, waiting on taxis etc.
