About Naser Ojaroudi Parchin:
Naser Ojaroudi Parchin (SMIEEE) is currently a British assistant professor (lecturer) at Edinburgh Napier University, Edinburgh, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Bradford, UK, where he was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics and worked as a research fellow in the SATNEX V project, funded by the European Space Agency. From 2018 to 2020, Naser was a Marie Curie Research Fellow in the H2020-ITN-SECRET project funded by EU Commission, targeting 5G mobile small cells. From 2014 to 2018, he worked with APMS Section, at Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. His research interests include antennas, MIMO systems, phased arrays, artificial intelligence, machine learning, signal/image processing, and wireless propagation. He has participated in several international IEEE conferences over the world where he presented his articles mostly in oral presentations. Dr. Naser is the author and co-author of several books/book chapters and more than 350 technical journals and conference papers. Dr. Naser is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and the Engineering Professors' Council (EPC). He is also an active reviewer in various high-ranking journals and publishers such as IEEE Transactions, IEEE Access/Letters, IET, Wiley, Springer, Elsevier, MDPI, etc. He is also a research grant reviewer of the Dutch Science Council (NWO). He is also appointed as a Guest Editor and Topic Board for several special issues. He was also the recipient and co-recipient of various Awards and grants for research publications such as the Research Development Fund, Research & Innovation Grant, MDPI travel awards, selected journal papers, best paper awards at URSI Symposium 2019, UK URSI Festival 2020, and IMDC 2021. Naser has been endorsed as a UK Talent by the Royal Academy of Engineering. He was included in the World’s Top Scientists list in 2016, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. His papers have more than 6900 citations with a 46 h-index, reported by Google Scholar
