I am very hard working and have excellent motivation skills and have the ability to work as a member of a team as well as I am equally comfortable working independently. I have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which allows me to work effectively with team members. Being a well presented individual gives me the confidence to establish a good relationship with the team. I have good listening skills and can carry out information to others. Being an enthusiastic and energetic person I am very committed in providing the highest level of work. I am very flexible and have the ability to use my own initiative, remain calm under pressure and can work under minimum supervision I am verycourteous and always display a professional approach in my work. I enjoy socialising with people and learning new skills.

I am a qualified level 3 nursery nurse with more than 16 years experience working with children from the ages of 0-12 years old. I have worked in various childcare settings such as Crèches, day care centres, community centres and in school settings. In addition to my experience I have worked with SEN children for 6 years. I have completed a Special Education Needs Awareness course which has enhanced my knowledge and understanding and develop further skills and abilities to effectively communicate and interact with SEN children and their families. Also over the years I have learnt and gained good communication skills in ways to approach and talk to parents from different ethnicities. For instance I have learnt that when parents approach me I should present myself  in a professional manner and make myself approachable so they feel comfortable to approach me and freely ask me any questions or discuss any issues they are concerned with. Over the years I have worked in variety of childcare settings and various areas across London. This opportunity has given me the chance to work with variety of people and children from all ages, races and backgrounds. This opportunity has helped me become a professional practitioner in the sense that I have learnt that no matter where I come from when I attend a setting I must respect the ethos of that setting whether they are catholic, Muslim, Hindu or any faith or belief. As a professional practitioner it is my duty and responsibility to respect all faiths and beliefs and without letting my personal views preventing me from carrying out my job. For this reason whichever sector I work in I make sure that I have a good understanding of the sectors ethos and backgrounds so I can fully support the setting in what they do so I can help them maintain it. In addition to this I have the confidence and skills to successfully work with the local community as well as to respect and value their work. I have a good understanding and experience of safeguarding children a  child protection. In addition to this to make the environment safe for the children I make sure i follow policies and procedures of the setting to ensure all duties have taken place.
