- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to drive business growth initiatives, including identifying and evaluating M&A opportunities, by offering valuable financial insights and analysis.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to support the company's growth objectives and enhance profitability.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and advisors, to ensure compliance and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Drive operational efficiency and performance improvements through data-driven analysis and continuous process optimization.
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferable.
- Proven track record of success as a CFO in a professional services or related industry, preferably within a private equity-backed environment.
- Experience scaling and ultimately exiting a private equity-backed business would be highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and integration.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Operational and commercial mindset, capable of balancing strategic financial management with day-to-day operational demands.
