A focused and enthusiastic Computer Games Design Graduate with a First-Class Honours Degree. I placed 9th in the 2020 ‘SFASX: Character Art competition hosted by Grads. In Games’ where I received the One to Watch badge. During my college studies I was presented with a Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate. I am keen to find my first full time position and develop my career. I have a full license with a four-year clean driving record and my own car.

Store Assistant, Home Bargains, Huddersfield [June 2018 – August 2018]

My work experience at Home Bargains helped me to develop my ability to work under pressure as it was a fast-paced working environment. This also contributed to me further developing my team working skills because there were instances where I would help colleagues top up shelves with stock as well as assisting with cleaning down their isles at the end of a shift. My social skills were enhanced due to me interacting with customers and answering any of their queries. 

Gaslight Games [September 2019 – November 2019]

I had a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Gaslight Games. Due to the nature of the contract, I am unable to further comment on what I did during my time spent with this company.

IT Assistant/Classroom Assistant Hillside Primary School [March 2020 – July 2020 & January 2021 - March 2021]

Working for Hillside Primary School as an IT Assistant enabled me to further implement and enhance my general computing knowledge as the nature of the work required me to use different software mainly under Microsoft Office to complete tasks. I used PowerPoint to assist teachers in creating learning resources for their classes. I also assisted staff with the format of documents within Word and Excel. During the pandemic I set up Zoom meetings for the teaching staff and uploaded materials onto the school website with a Content Management System (CMS –WordPress). Assisting in these fields honed my general IT skills.

As a Classroom Assistant I guided and taught Key Stage 1 Pupils how to use IT equipment safely as well as how to save and retrieve work. This was a valuable experience for me because my teamwork skills improved working in tandem with the teaching staff to educate the pupils.
