About omar Abdelwahab:

I am a GP and assistant lecturer of human Anatomy and Embryology from Egypt. I have been awarded a PhD degree from the school of Health Sciences, University of Southampton.

 I have an extensive experience in human Anatomy teaching with a master degree of human Anatomy and Embryology (Assiut Universit, Egypt) and a 12-year experience as a clinical demonstrator and lecturer of human Anatomy both in Egypt (Assiut and Aswan Universities) and the UK (Centre for Learning Anatomical Sciences (CLAS), University of Southampton). 

Through my 4-year career in CLAS, I gained a huge experience in all aspects of human Anatomy teaching starting from dissection, clinical and online demonstration, lecturing, exam structuring and assessment).

I am an experienced biomedical researcher working for 5 years within a University of Southampton immunology research group with a special focus on neurogenic inflammation and its involvement in health and disease. Nevertheless, we investigated the potency of Manuka honey-derives agents against neurogenic inflammation.

I have the capacity to learn and evolve through a strong personal development plan. I have an absolute commitment to the development of my professional performance. I am a friendly person who manage working in a group, while having the confidence and reliability to work individually.

(4) Clinical Demonstrator of human Anatomy and Embryology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt (from October 2009 to June 2013).

(5) Part-time General Practitioner (GP), ministry of Health, Assiut governorate, Egypt (from October 2009 to June 2013).
