About Paul Booth:
I worked in South East Asia managing Arsenal's primary data outsourcing company for 7 years before moving home to the United Kingdom where I have covered the role similarly in a hybrid arrangement.
I am a capable, competent and proven manager, a motivator and have a great eye for process and detail.
I am fluent in Lao and have a strong data background in the field of football.
Experience
I started my career as an ESL Teacher from 2010-2014, spending four years teaching English to students aged 6-18 in Laos at Oscar Bilingual School and Kiettisack International School. During this time, I managed large classrooms of up to 30 students, worked closely with parents who had limited English, created individual learning plans for struggling learners, and learned Lao language to better connect with my students and understand their cultural context.
Since 2014, I've worked as an Operations & Quality Control Specialist at Arsenal Football Club, managing international operations across the UK, USA, and South East Asia for over a decade. In this role, I coordinate data processes for coaching staff and management, maintain quality control systems that prevent errors from reaching senior stakeholders, create tracking processes that actually solve problems, and provide training and support to team members from different cultural backgrounds. I've learned to communicate with everyone from board level executives to ground staff, and regularly facilitate meetings between different stakeholders and teams.
Education
I completed my secondary education with 10 GCSEs including Mathematics and English at St. Edmund Arrowsmith, followed by A-Level Physical Education at Winstanley College.
Additionally, I hold an FA Level 1 Coaching Badge, which demonstrates my commitment to continuous learning and development within football. This qualification shows my understanding of coaching principles and youth development, which complements my practical experience working with young people in educational settings.

While my formal academic qualifications provide a solid foundation, my professional development has largely come through hands-on experience - from learning Lao language to better connect with my students, to developing advanced operational skills through managing complex international processes at Arsenal Football Club. I believe in practical learning and have consistently developed new skills throughout my career to meet the demands of each role.
